When you arrive in Sydney, Australia the weather he will be cold as we are heading into our Autumn and Winter. So generally pack warmer clothes such as jumpers and long pants i.e jeans and tracksuit. I know it is not what you are use to as Cyprus is usually always warm and the humidity is usually always high so I guess you wear shorts, t-shits and thongs everywhere. But I would bring a few t-shits and shorts as the weather can get quite warm some days.
You may also want to bring a beanie and thermals as we are going to Thredbo in May and although it is only near the beginning of Winter it can still get quite cold at night and in the mornings.
