1.11 Questions- Australia's Energy Resources

6. Australia is rich in natural gas with $5 billion worth.

7. In 2006 the government announced they would be building a huge solar power station near Mildura. It consists of field of mirrors each covering 0.8 square kilometres. Theses panels would be able to produce 1500 times more electricity than typical rooftop panels. This would provide huge amounts of electricity to Australia and  help cut back on our energy usage.

8. Electricity can be generated by wind turbines as the more powerful the wind is and the more the turbines spin the more electricity is generated which means more houses will be given power.

10. I believe that if we are able to have the technology and the money to create these power sources than I think it would be a great idea.

13. There are many gas fields around the coast of Western Australia and inland of Queensland but the pipelines go through most of Australia.
